Week 1: My Template
This is my very first blog and I'm excited to learn and grow with everyone! I hope that with a main theme of nature, I can change the theme background every now and then. I love nature and believe that there are many scenes that express and portray different meanings which could help in future postings in my blog this semester. Plus, there is always room for improvement!
I chose "Picture Window" for my template because I also love taking pictures! Have you seen the Nikon Coolpix P900? It is amazing! Hoping to one day to purchase it. Hiking is one of my many favorite outdoors activities. I also like how this background allows one to feel like their there as well!
Let's take this hike and grow together!
Hey Croft! Love what you wrote. I also love the outdoors and taking photos! I don't know Nikon but I have a Sony a5100 and absolutely LOVE it! And, because I just moved up to the mountains I spend a lot of my time taking photos of everything. Looking forward to reading more from you this semester! :^)

Thank you! There is a video on YouTube that attracted me to the camera at first. It was like love at first sight! HAha!
DeleteHi Croft, I absolutely love your template! I was also looking for a template that I could change the background uploading my own pictures as a background but I couldn't find one. I probably need to spend more time exploring. Can you add your own background with this "Picture Window" template or do you have to use the ones offered by Blogger?
ReplyDeleteI believe we have a lot in common, I also love nature and taking pictures on my walks, hikes, camping and trips. I'm not a professional photographer but it's my passion.

Yes! You should be able to. I wasn't using my own computer at the time, so I couldn't do that. I saw the option to upload your own though!

Allows for the easy reading of the comments while still tying into your overall theme. This is my first blogging experience as well and look forward to seeing more of your blogs.

DeleteLove the little pic at the bottom, definitely goes with the theme of your blog and makes me want to read more, sounds inspiring! I also just got the Sony A5000 and love it so far, very good for videos and has an amazing flip up screen when you are by yourself filming and need to get the right face angles LOL! Anyways, cute theme, can't wait to see more!

The additional photo was a nice touch, and it inspired me to play with photos and possibly links on my future blogs.

DeleteI love the green in the image of your background. It's really striking. I also love how much contrast there is between the outer edges of the image and the middle of the image, I think it really frames the blog content well.
